i love this movie.

Crazy Little Thing Called Love (Thai Movie)

Wala akong ine-expect sa movie na ito. May nagsabi kasi na maganda at medyo interesting ang title kaya sinubukan kong i-search sa youtube…hindi ko na pinanood ang trailer… umpisa agad sa simula…para hindi na ako mabitin.

Na-release ito last August 2010 sa Thailand…karaniwan kasi ang alam ko puro horror ang movie sa Thailand kaya parang curious akong malaman kung ano bang meron sa palabas na ito.

Tungkol ito sa first love ni Nam (Pimchanok Lerwisetpibol) isang ordinaryong 14 yrs. old na girl na hindi kagandahan…ugly duckling…kumbaga. May lihim siyang pagtingin kay Chon (Mario Maurer) na sikat sa kanilang school dahil sa gwapo na ay mabait pa. Pinag-aagawan ng mga girls ang atensyon niya at kasama d’on si Nam kahit alam n’ya na wala siyang pag-asa sa dami ng maganda sa school. Pero sa tulong ng kanyang mga mabubuting kaibigan unti-unti siyang nagtransform mula sa ugly duckling to a very pretty girl…as in.

Simple lang ang takbo ng story pero mararamdaman ng manonood ang emotion…lalo na ‘yung kilig. Gusto ko ‘yung positive vibe ng movie dahil naging inspirasyon ni Nam si Chon para i-improve ang sarili at pataasin ang grades n’ya.

Nakakatuwa ang mga bonding moments ni Nam at ng mga kaibigan n’ya. Nakakakilig naman ang moments nila ni Chon pero nakakaiyak ang separation nilang dalawa sa bandang huli.

Sa trailer sinabi na…it’s everyone’s story and I agree with that. It brings back memories of high school days, first crush and first love…dito kasi nangyayari ang mga bagay na kapag binalikan natin sa ngayon eh, tinatawanan na lang natin. Iyong simpleng paghanap ng paraan para makita ang crush o kaya mapalapit dito.

Sa movie, nakakatuwa ‘yung part na nagpaalam si Nam na pupunta ng CR pero ang totoo ay gusto niyang sumilay kay Chon na ang room ay nasa third floor. Maging ung pag-extra niya sa pagkuha ng picture ni Chon sa isang classmate nila na maganda.

Maganda ang kabuuan ng pelikula kaya nga lang medyo bitin ang ending at siguro nga tulad ng ilang mga sinasabi ng mga nakapanood na nito…sana may part 2. Isa na naman ito sa mga napanood ko na walang kissing scene pero ramdam ko ang saya, sakit at kilig na dulot ng first love sa movie.

Sa tingin ko, madadagdag ang mga Thai Movie na tulad nito sa mga aabangan at panonoorin ko sa future dahil na-enjoy ko ng bongga ang pelikulang ito. (*^_^)

SYNOPSIS

The film is centered on a plain-looking, dark-skinned school girl named Nam (Fern Pimchanok Leuwisedpaiboon) who is secretly in love with an older Grade 10 guy named Shone (Mario Maurer). Chon is a photography enthusiast and a popular student in their school. However, he is often teased by some of his schoolmates because his father didn’t score the penalty kickand made their province lose in a national football cup. But that doesn’t change the fact that a lot of girls in their school are going crazy over him, including Nam. However, Nam is well aware that she is not the prettiest of the bunch, but she doesn’t give up easily. With help from her close girl friends, Nam tries everything to make herself more beautiful and outstanding in school, hoping that Shone would like her someday. WIKIPEDIA

Crazy Little Thing Called Love

My sister showed me the trailer of Crazy Little Thing Called Love and it looked fun so we watched it earlier. Being a fan of teen movies, I did love the movie. It was a cute story about first love. It was funny what Nam did just to see and impress Shone like taking bathroom breaks just to pass by his classroom. Another was trying everything to get his attention and changing herself to become a pretty girl. It was a sad moment when Nam confessed her feelings only to find out that he has a girlfriend. It was even sadder learning Shone liked Nam all along. And it was moving when Shone’s side of the story was shown, I hoped he revealed his feelings earlier. I really enjoyed watching the movie and I would probably watch it again.
