Chasing Rainbows.

“I see rainbows again.”

I’ll keep this blog brief and straightforward so as not to complicate things. Its complicated na rin naman. Bear with me.

The past few months that had just passed me had just been so abrupt, there were so many
changes. The things I’ll write next are the generally the things I’ve learned. Don’t ask me
why I’m saying this, all are lessons from my experiences. It’s up to your inferences.

Here it goes…

The time you get to learn from a person and appreciate him or her most is the moment
you lose that certain person.

Time can never tell how much a person trusts or loves you.

Life is all about making choices. Choose and never look back.

There are some things in life that you don’t really need in order for you to live. Don’t be
afraid to let them/it go if they/it hinder(s) you from being a better person. Try keeping things streamlined just so you don’t end up living a complicated yet meaningless life.

All of us will ,and always will, live in discontent. Nothing’s perfect, no one is either. That
though is not reason for you to stop looking for that golden pot at the bottom of the
imaginary rainbows we so call “life”. You can’t stop life even if you will it, you’ll still be stuck trying to have a better life. You’ll still have to climb and fall from rainbows occasionally.

The word “forever” won’t promise you anything. It’s just a word. Its up to you to believe if
its meaning exists.

Nothing is certain in this world. So try. Risk. Although you’ll never know that what you
have is true or not, having tried and fought for something meaningful even if it
ends up being fictitious, is still going to be an enlightening and empowering experience.

People can give their entire self to you. They need to. A life not shared is a life not lived. But that doesn’t entail that you have to need that person who gives his or herself to you. Be cautious of people’s intentions. Some might be just bribing you, maybe the just want something from you. Some might just take advantage of your vulnerability. Learn to give yourself to others too, but, just before you do that, make sure you know yourself.

If you can’t give yourself to others, love yourself more. Invest in yourself. People then will
be more interested to share with you their lives.

It’s so random isn’t it? I must’ve missed more, I just can’t remember. The past few months
was so turbulent. Anyway, I hope those things spark stuff.

My mind now, is free. The rain had stopped. The rainbows are showing up.

I’m back chasing rainbows again. Which one will I climb? I don’t know what’s there for me at the ends of those rainbows, still, I’ll live with hope, hope that there’s something/someone better waiting from me at the ends of what or who I pursue.

Sa likod ng kanyang mga ngiti ay nagkukubli ang di matawarang kalungkutan. Sa kabila ng pagiging Kuya ay ang kahungkagan ng pagiging anak. Sa pagiging positibo ay nakatago ang madaming pagdududa at takot. Sa nag-uumapaw na pag-ibig ay ang paghahanap ng tunay na kahulugan ng pagmamahal. Mga kasalatang pinilit punan ng mga hiram na kaalaman.

Labing nakatawa, matang nangungulila, pagkabatang pilit kinalimutan. Isa sa mga paborito kong tao. Nakakapanghinayang na konting panahon lang kami naging magkasama.
